NON-DEGREE COURSE OF STUDY
The Non-Degree Course of Study (NCOS) is a new video-based ministerial training curriculum designed for the USA\Canada Region of the Church of the Nazarene. Created to replace the long-standing Modular Course of Study, the NCOS provides accessible, high-quality education for those pursuing ordination in ministry.

WHY NCOS?
The NCOS has been designed to;
Deliver quality ministerial education across diverse contexts.

Ensure excellence and consistency through partnerships between districts and IBOE-accredited education providers.

Promote flexibility in delivery formats while maintaining core competencies.

Assess learning consistently through standardized evaluations tied to clearly defined ability statements.

COURSE STRUCTURE
Duration – 8 weeks (standard); 10- or 12-week options available.
Learning Time – Fulfills All Requirements in Flexible Format
Mode – Online
Instruction – Video-based learning + real-time facilitation by approved facilitators.

Courses are facilitated by individuals recommended by districts, approved by education providers, and supported by the regional office.

Each course will cost $175.
