     Hiring pastoral staff (paid or unpaid):  You must submit the following request to hire before finalizing adding pastoral staff.  Manual requires DS approval.  Submit on District Toolbox

When adding local licensed pastors: You must submit the following form to the district: First Time Local License Registration. From this registration we will submit the required Verification of Credential History Check to the General Secretary’s Office for you.

Creating your Operating Budget, Completing a Financial Audit and Church Board review of the District Written Finance Report is required annually. Please add this to your calendars to ensure completion.

CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR ORDAINED MINISTERS

(and Licensed Ministers who have completed the Course of Study)

The Northwestern Illinois District is encouraging all their ministers to now report life-long learning hours (LLH) on the new Self-reporting system provided by our denomination. Manual par. 527.6 sets a minimum expectation of 20 hours per year for ministers. Use the following two links as needed.
